Do soups and fruits count as water? Does the app track them? π₯£π
Yep, partly β soups and fruits do contribute to hydration π§ But hereβs the catch: for the clearest tracking, still count plain water separately.
- Soups: basically liquid, so they help. If our app has a Water/Drinks tracker, log soup there only if thereβs an option for it (or as a drink/meal entry). If not, no stress β just donβt replace all your daily water with soup.
- Fruits: many are water-rich (watermelon, oranges, strawberries), but they also come with sugar/fiber, so itβs not the same as drinking water. In the app, itβs best to log fruit as food, and water as water.
Easy starter rule π: drink and track water, and treat soups/fruits as a hydration bonus. If youβre short of your goal, add 1β2 glasses between meals.
